The van looks like a Trunus Transit.

This is a crop from one scanned today for tramway & railway people I haven't a hope identifying the truck, and am not confident with the van: Citroen? Renault? Fiat?

70499,
Very close.
Taunus not Trunus.
I'd give you a cold beer for that!

My scanning and supplied photos in recent months have been more bus than truck. Here is one which I found via my boating interest. Former SS Rowitta was built in Tasmania, had a varied life, then was preserved as the centrepiece of Flagstaff Hill Maritime Museum, Warrnambool (Vic.). The hull deteriorated to the point when the museum deemed that scrapping was the only choice. This photo surfaced during the wave of nostalgia at the farewell. I can only guess that it was from an issue of Warrnambool 'Standard' at the time of delivery, in 1974. Edited fast to include the prompt response.

The truck is actually a Scammell Contractor, the Leyland badge would refer to the engine it had. Scammell Contractors were available with a choice of Leyland, AEC, Rolls-Royce or Cummins engines

I think that this is an artificial antique. Bad Schandau is a touristy part of Elbe River, with a fortress, a national park, a vintage tram to the park, and paddlesteamers on the river. This bus links the wharf with the fortress.
