Bedford wheel needed was created by mikeg
I blew a steer tyre yesterday, the lock ring gave away and then the tyre departed company from the rim I pulled up on the rim only.

The rim was damaged and cannot be used so I am now running with my spare only and am on my way from Newcastle to Canberra. I am hoping to pick up another rim somewhere on the way.

I am looking for an 8 stud 20 inch steel wheel to suit a Bedford. Any leads appreciated.

The jap 8 stud tube types are likely to fit and were pretty easy to get hold of as people wanted tubeless.

The jap 8 stud will fit but there is a difference in the taper on the nut, I am looking into this possibility now.

All tyres were new less than 10,000 ago and have plenty of tread. I have pulled the other steer tyre off and checked the wheel and it appears to be good.

A mate has lent me another as a spare to get down to Canberra and back but am still looking for another wheel.

Mikeg, I have got the rim, but the miles between it and you make it very difficult.   :(

Hi Mikeg .. As a short term fix re your Jap wheel taper, the wheel nuts could be machined that slight amount to accept the rim taper by anyone with a small lathe handy to you. Pretty sure that would get you on your way.
