WANTED: White and Poppe engine for 1908 Dennis

Greetings from the UK.

I am restoring a 1908 Dennis 3 ton delivery van but have had little success in finding the correct engine in Europe.



I have managed to purchase three cylinder blocks, two pistons and three connecting rods as well as the carburettor and magneto but that is still some way off a complete engine. I would be willing to purchase any parts that get me closer to a complete engine.

White and Poppe sold engines to a number of other manufacturers.

Will ask around, do you have a photo or sketch of what the engine you are after looks like.

Sorry, the photo I posted was very small.

It has been a while but I just wanted to add that I have found the right engine for the lorry. It came in very many boxes but appears to have all the important parts with the exception of the water pump.
