RE: Dynatard was sticking on.
Yes they will hang on
but have found the relay 2 B faulty (unless the fuel pump dynatard on/off is out of adjustment)
as U drive max n out on the govoner @ times the dynatard relay twould burn .... arc out across the contacts
the old relays U could pull apart n rub the contacts with emery paper etc
or U fling m n put in a new fully sealed relay
best to turn dynatard off wen max n out on Fwy etc unless uz go n down hill or use n Dynatred to kill revs to change gears

Back to the top with an Israel-only Miniliner at the Mack Ashdod yard before delivery.

Tatra,
Don't mind the look of those Mini-liners! Wide, but short-assed bonnet makes 'em look cool.
For (your) local consumption only? Pity, wouldn't have minded seeing them out here, What era we talking about? Looks like the common old garden variety R model basic cab.
Cheers, Dave

Dave,

It was an attempt by Mack Ashdod to update the basic R-600 flintstone which had a longer production run in Israel than downunder, and we're talking early eighties. Cab was the Sheller Globe cab used on many Mack and Brockway models all over the world.

Cheers

Here's that DM 800 with the integral sleeper I think I posted earlier but a bit closer. Recovery is done by another Mack, an MH600. Both were owned by an old Israel haulage company Shelev which is still going strong (from Shelev's archives).
