Had something turn up today

Bit of an update .,Mate came up and we brought it down to the shed.Hit it with the pressure washer.
Next sort out Mystery of the battery leads
Basicly it had had a temperary fuel tank on it to try and get in going years ago .Water got in and ended up at the pump .So start afresh . New temp tank , all new fuel lines and filters..Push as much water out of the ump as possible ..Take lines off injectors and wind over . Fuel at 2 , nothing from the rest ..So sideplate off pump ,6 stuck up and not coming down . Tap tap and a bit of levering has them moving . Wind over ,sees fuel to injectors .
Pipes back on. Fingers crossed and hit the starter .
Fires straight up .
Look down at the oil pressure gauge ,over 45 lbs at an idle .
Clutch and brake pedals felt frozen , Give the pedal a bit of a stamp .It moved , work it a bit and slowly get it to depress . .And can get it into gear .
Next the Brakes Aircommprressor pumping , nothing on the gauge . Arha , add bung to t piece .Gauge going up .
Foot on Brake pedal Bugger get showered in Brake fluid coming out the resevor beside the seat .
. Remove Bung from T piece , Who needs brakes anyway .
Main thing is , It runs ,it moves

and aint that the bees knees, justifies all the stories ya told the minister for war and finance.... you will driving it to Yarra Glen in a few months... :woohoo:

Not my Truck Sarge .So can't take it anywhere , Well maybe sneak it up to Ragan next year , if he doesn't have too much pulled off it .
Pressure washer took off half the paint , the bulllbar is off ,he's talking not putting it back on .
