Maybe Swishy needs a few sheets of that pre-dried paint we were talking about last year. It would have to be battleshit grey.

Assume it closes to 2.50 metres Guessing it widens to around 3.50 that would increase the payload by 9 tonnes.
And the holes are very American.

Yes I remember the posts regarding the walking beam, with a question on the width of the pivot.
My remarks this time did not question the design in fact, it is in my opinion a very smart idea for work in a large City.
As opposed to a 3 X 4 trailer it will handle another 2 tonnes, with no more tare weight thanks to the holes.
The big advantage is the increase in stability when the wheels widen to 3.50 metres with a high centre of gravity load.
Nothing wrong with the grey matter about to start fitting out another two 700 Volvos, the first ones with the crawler gear, not sure exactly the ratio in low about 45 : 1 put that with 4 .8? axles 216 : 1 that should take some weight of the steer on a big hill.

We have never had any problems with stability
we prefere a rigid type suspension az in walking beam or Brentwood spring & beam
No problem with most of the weight on one side
the 49 Freighter would/could/should widen/narro like thiz n

We find an overall reduction of bout 90:1 can spin the wheels on lift off on steepish general garden variety hill with 18.5t on drives on bit u men or concrete roadway

Swishy am I looking at this future hot rod above from the front end one day or the back end ?????
must be some flash steel you blokes are using as the chassis rails look smallish
