That ain't for loading planes, it is a tug for towing'em in and out of the "gates"at the airport. Modern passenger jets weigh hundreds of tonnes and it takes an awful lot of ballast on the tug to get traction. I have heard what they weigh but I forgot. Altzheimers disease or something similar kicking in!

YEP That looks like it.$wishy.
they appear to build up the trailer with modules till they
get what they want...........all controlled by the bloke sitting
in the under slung cab, after its all hooked up.......

They are hydraulic and are powered by an engine mounted at one end of the unit.

When multiple units are coupled together side by side they use multiple engines to supply the power for hydraulics.

The hydraulics power all wheels and also power the suspension.

Pretty cool, and expensive, units and cool to watch in action.
