Oliver you have done a great job not only taking photos but going to the trouble to get them posted here, well done and thanks for your effort.

Thanks for the photos better than I can do. Good to meet up and have a chat particularly about tractors of which I know nothing.

Another beautiful day after the great dinner last night but I did notice a sled and team of huskies lining up early on the frosty grass oval.

Thanks Oliver and all others involved. Great photos of great trucks. I am glad to see some of the older ones, which are my interest. I would have loved to have been there but too many other things to do and not enough money. Maybe next year I might get there and meet you all. It is a long way for me but sometimes it can be done. Loved Rocklea last year but things did not fall into place this time.
I have my shoulder to the wheel,
my nose to the grindstone,
I've put my best foot forward,
I've put my back into it,
I'm gritting my teeth,

Now I find I can't do any work in this position!

I met a few people from sites I visit and thought that I did meet Lang but unfortunately as my head was not in gear with a head cold I sadly was mistaken, sorry Lang and Oliver.
I just loaded my pics from the camera onto the desktop so when I get the chance I will add to the great selection that Oliver has loaded up. One truck I knew nothing of and is in one of Olivers pics is a Marmon and running a Cat engine going by the stickers across the top of the windscreen.
Saw a great project for Swishy to take on a Volvo cab chasis but I didn't waste my pixels on it. The little Dodge tow truck was in pristene condition and the 345 V8 sounded just right. There was a great idea used this time and that was to run similar brand named trucks together so you got a good view of each mark. The 2 Mercedes 1318 trucks were well presented as were many other ones and the Fodens were doing them selves proud.
There was a good selection of tractors this year and some were right up there in there restorations. HRH Sarah Fergusson done herself proud with sitting there and looking pretty and starting up each time with ease. It is amazing how fixing 2 bad connecting HT leadds make it hard to start. A small 2 cylinder Holder garden tractor which is 4wd and articulated sounded great at idle popping away but lift the revs and it was quiet as a mose. These things have a brilliant turning circle as well. Only one steam portable engine was here this weekend and a good selection of other stationary engines including a very rare Wicona Pep engine from the U.S. Apparently only 3 came to Oz and this is the only one here that runs.
Hopefully soon I can add to the great pics already posted.
