How about another old bus.

This isn't a quiz; I am seeking an identification (make/model/year).
The numberplate LF hints at mid 1940s.
It was on the school-bus run from Maldon into Castlemaine, on Thurs.10.7.69. Even then, it was old for that sort of service. I don't know the operator either.
IIRC then, and now, Maldon buses are timed for school traffic. Anyone wanting to connect to/from Melbourne by train can ride, but not with good connections.

In that era, something even older was on the Waubra - Ballarat run. I saw it in the distance once, but didn't get a photo.

In this photo: the vehicle lhs has to be a c1960 Ford Zephyr; the one rhs seems to be a 1950s Vauxhall (Velox?) ute.

It's a Chevy, Roderick, this style was built from 1941-47.

The other two look like a Zepher and a Vaxhall (not sure spelling Swishy)
