Well Decco, bit of research suggests it's a Jiefang model CA10 produced by the First Auto Works in Changchun.
It was based on the Russian ZIS150 from the 1950's when China and Russia were still buddies and was first produced in 1956.

...thanks for that further info Jimbo .. all these jiggers were either built under licence (or the iron curtain), and usually ended up being (stolen) copies of a tried and true design from years earlier....
....it reminds me of the yanks just after WW2 .....when they were quite alarmed about the direct copies of the Boeing B29 Superfortress being built in Russia.... that soon became the first Tupolov bombers....
....the guys analysing the photo-recce pics yelled out....''hey look at this...they even copied the patches we put over the battle damage" !! ...
...they then went on to produce their own atom bomb..... :'( :'(........

The Jiefang was initially produced in co-operation with the Russians who even helped them set-up the factory and trained the initial workers in Russia.
Who the Russians copied the design from is another matter ............
