I reckon it's a; Forstone (or Maybe "Henry Flint")

I don't think there's any connection between the TMU I posted and the Aussie creation actually. TMU was a Basque company which one might compare with RFW downunder. They used whatever bodywork bits they could get their hands on but I think the chap with the flintstone had the Ford cab and improvised.

I looks like Mack running gear, HD rear axles.....but then the dog on the door????, mind you a ford cab would be better to sleep in then a flintstone. ;D

Trust me

Hi, new to the Forum and enjoy the shared info. So pleased to see discussion on this unique truck - couldn't believe my eyes
when first sighted it about 1976. Driving for the late Sherman Gates of Springvale, carting oregon off the wharves to Smith
Timber industries in Centre road. Owner driver Alan Middleton told me he used to drive low loaders but wanted a truck for
himself, had to be a Mack, so bought it with a wrecked cab, otherwise original so fitted the Ford cab to suit his budget. Ran like a top as these old jiggers did and Alan was a dab hand on the quad box. Nice guy so hope he's doing well. Last saw it parked
in St Kilda Rd about Inkerman Rd about 1980. Cheers all. :)
