I give up. I have tried at least eight times to add a picture. I went to Firefox because I was told it would make the forum work better. I can click on "Attachments" but only get messages showing the extension types that can be used, icluding the one I want, .jpg. It also tells me maximum size is 2.9MB. My picture is 6.99kb.

There is on "Insert" thing to click on.
If I click on "add files" it takes me to my picture gallery and lets me insert the picture number but the picture will not open or attach.

Ideas, anyone? I do not have a teenager to show me.

I have done a seven-step tutorial, but only five can show in one post, and I suspect that only two of the seven are needed.

I'm guessing that you can get this far: You now press 'insert'


and you should now be ready to press submit


If necessary, I can put up the whole set as two posts.

Email the image through to forum@hcvc.com.au and I will take a look. If it is really 6.99kb it will be so small or grainy I would be surprised if anyone will be able to recognise it. :)

I just noticed a spelling mistake in my last post. It came out as "on insert" whereas I meant "No Insert"

I now see that further down, below Insert all and remove all, there is a box labelled insert, whereas I thought it said Insert all.

A year or so ago, you did PM me instructions but it would not work. I think that after that, I did manage to insert one picture but cannot do so now.

On seeing Terry's reply, I tried to use an uncropped picture that is a litle bigger than the one I had tried. I get the message "Attachment 15320" followed by the number of the picture but it will not open.

Terry, I will now try to email the larger picture, as you suggest. Thanks.

Wow, something worked.
Maybe I have to hit "submit" before I can see if it works? By then it will be to late to cancel if it does not.

Here, with a lot of luck, is my entry for Wheremeye.

The successful part: Morris has loaded without a hitch. Strike while the iron is hot, and try a photo in one of the other threads to lock the steps into your memory.
The unsuccessful part: I haven't the faintest idea where.
