No, not between Adelaide and Port Augusta.

So far:
My clue: it is on an important/busy truck route.
It is in SA.
It isn't Two Wells.
It isn't within 2 km of the sea/ocean.
It isn't between Adelaide and Port Augusta.

I've bumped the photo further forwards.

No, not Mt Pleasant. 'Area' is a bit vague. Remember, it is on a busy/important truck route.
I bumped the photo again, deleted the earlier two and this third.
The correct answer came not long after that bump.
