Peake: Yes.
Overlander Tavern, originally a general store.
The beer sign was for West End Draught.
On Mallee Hwy, but ~95 km from the Vic. border.
I was trailing my boat. That is the most efficient way to Goolwa or Mannum.
For Blanchetown and upstream, I turn off at Pinnaroo and head to Loxton.
For Renmark and upstream, I come via Mildura and Sturt Hwy (A20).
I did post this one because the rightful poster hadn't found a photo, and the quiz was stalling. When my earlier pub went in 2 min instead of 2 weeks, I thought that this one would be the same.
I was surprised when people struggled, but the 20 questions approach worked. I wasn't worried about beating 20, and haven't counted.
A teacher who was low on the promotion ladder saw Murrayville advertised (Mallee Hwy, Victorian side). He loved fishing and waterskiing and applied, and got the spot: others more entitled weren't interested. He then found that it wasn't near the Murray. It is closer to Adelaide than it is to Melbourne.
Hopefully Rex can not only help himself to a beer despite coronavirus quotas, he can supply the next quiz photo without having to leave his house and stand 1.5 m from another photographer.

bloody Peake! I was following up a fourth hand rumour about a Valiant Charger in the area. Started doorknocking the town. Not everyone wanted to talk to a big hairy bloke on a bike. Anyway got directed out to a farm, (big road bikes don't like sandy tracks), got attacked by dogs and someone weirder than me answered the door. I am not easily discouraged. Got to the shed and found an extremely rusted out shell. No panels, engine, drive train, interior, glass. Asking $30k. I didn't buy it.

Working on more play time.
Why not, did the owner or the dog scare you off?
A little bit of rust wouldn't hurt. Some people belive that they are sitting on a gold mine and in fact own a piece of crap.
There is a nice, original, one owner RT Charger still with rego around the corner from me. It looks half decent and still runs smooth.
It is not for sale, this I know.

One of my railway groups works on the basis of 3 days for a winner to continue, otherwise open floor. Hence, open floor right now. I do have a spare on hand if it goes that far.
