Swishy.............I'm down but not out. Been spending about an hour a day "Google earthing".
I'm looking at roads 4-5 k's off the coast and am down around Margaret River at the moment...........have I gone too far?

Well Swishy I'm claiming the beer from my very own fridge.
The wall with the hole in it is has AUGUSTA 1830 encribed on it and is on the Bussel Hwy just before you guessed it ..........Augusta WA.
Might get there myself in November. I'm driving over to the west again by myself and going via Port Lincoln and up the coast to Ceduna. When I get to Norseman will try the gravel road thru to Hyden and on to Perth. My wife is flying over and I will pick her up and head to Albany for the centenary of the Troops leaving for Egypt and then to Galipolli. Will drive back via Esperance and will try and do a couple of hundred k's on the Old Eyre Hwy.
