That reminds me of Gladstone, maybe look for more pics to compare. That's about 45 years ago supposedly the peak of memory for us more mature blokes.

Thats a large building site behind the "A" shaped building middle right of frame. Seems to be cove or by of water imediately in from the inlet and the river thn runs to the right passed those high rise buildings.

It just has to be Tweed Heads. That river shape and backwater match.
Tree growth and redevelopment make getting a Google Earth match today tricky, but I have been able to get to that angle-roof white church top right, and glimpses of the hospital very top right.
Thanks for that.
I may have more from this collection when I get time. Others have been identified already in different groups.
I hope that this has revived the main thread: pending feedback, we can't offer more entries, and may not need to.
