Zounds, beaten again. Glenferrie Rd, Kooyong (Melbourne Vic).
Back to Ashley St, Tottenham. The Tottenham Yard project was a major one from the 1930s, mainly using spoil from trenching the line to Malvern. Ashley St then became a 'tunnel' under lots of tracks, with level crossings at each end. To the north was a siding serving one of the warehouses (Munistore?); to the south were the two suburban tracks, with gates worked from a signalbox. To the west was White City station, with only one platform, serving the dog-racing sports ground. In my time, White City was closed when the suburban tracks were elevated; the northern siding was cut short of Ashley St; two elevated 'RRL' tracks were added.

I do regard the win as Dave's, not mine. Hence, I'll hold off for a day for Dave to go first if he wants to.
Mt Elephant was a popular backdrop for photostops during our railway-enthusiast tours. Other angles (not on the hard drive) do show the resemblance better than this one.
