Anyone recognise this Dennis? was created by Beaver
A Dennis race car transporter, converted from an ex Sydney fire engine in the mid 1990s.
Believed to have been used around Phillip Island Circuit at turn of the century.
Sold at Shannon's in Jan 2003, now in a private Jaguar collection/museum in UK (it has Jag 4.2 engine in it).
Enquiring on behalf of current owner, and also to satisfy my own curiosity, to determine its history.
Any info greatly appreciated.

It would no doubt have been a State fire authority appliance to start with. Can the present owner provide a chassis number to trace where it originated from?

Beaver if can identify the logo on the side that might give you a clue on it's owner. Dave

The owner is known and has provided a chassis number.

That is why Detective Beaver is now on the case
Thanks for the links above, they tell most of the story. Just need a date for the Dennis the Menace article. Have contacted the magazine.

The logo on the side is a Jaguar emblem. But the owner is already known.Beaver if can identify the logo on the side that might give you a clue on it's owner. Dave
