Mornington Peninsula probably. Around Rosebud, Rye, Sorrento area? Rosebud to Boneo, Flinders?

My guess would be the Nth west corner, possibly on the Sunraysia or Mallee hwy.

That what I think also out in the Mallee scrub. Doesn't look like it is in service it a bit knocked about

I have transferred the photo to the Historic Buses thread within the Historic Trucks section. Mallee Scrub beat Teatree scrub.

Yeh, got sucked in by the Beaumaris desto. The stunted growth and sandy soils were there - I should have zoomed the photo and looked at the species of scrub :-[

No time tonight. It is very generic, isn't NSW (nose in angle parking), and has a Victorian numberplate on the ~1955 Austin at the front. I am going for Wangaratta, whatever street Hume Hwy is, at Roy St. IIRC that corner had a T&G, and it isn't showing because that was the photographer's vantage point.
