This is a thread to get some response but Google Lense is so good now that any shot or very similar that has appeared anywhere on any app will be brought up instantly along with a story about what you are looking at. You can even sometimes get a photo of yourself at your 5th birthday party put up on some family tree web site by the daughter you have never met of your cousin who you have not seen for 70 years who was at your party.
I think we need to go to the very early Where Is style with peoples' screen shots or happy snaps of more obscure things and feed in clues to help guesses.
All takes up time to start with a picture of a gum tree and begin the 40 questions.

Hi,
the original 'Whereameye' thread is still available, www.hcvc.com.au/forum/CandQ/11668-wheremeye , if you want to restart that style of quiz. The original post suggested a new style of quiz and there was discussion at the time about whether to merge the two threads but it was agreed to leave them separate so that both style could be maintained.
Southbound is posting his own images and I am not using Google Lens or other image matching tools, I just happen to recognise the last few or use clues from the images, and other comments, to find them.
Terry

#83 is the dredge and barge just outside of Maldon. I don't think I've ever actually stopped to check it out even though I've driven past it a number of times.
