when one of the boys decided to try the HF once more...
they'd almost given up as they presumed most of the blokes over in the parking bay, were outside and away from their trucks and of course not everyone had a HF either...
It seemed like a complete waste of time..they had tried many times over the past few days....no response..
As Jimbo threw the mike back on the seat and slammed the door...Nah...no answer...
scscshhcscsshhhrsssss... the radio jumped into life and jimbo was straight back in the cab... We could barely hear the conversation over the static.. We heard the over and out and Jim was back out on the ground...Well! whats goin on over there...??

Ya self real comfortable, it's going to be a long night with all these mob around. Suddenly,in the stillness of the night a far off sound of guitars, singing & horses hooves can be heard. Around the fire the boy's & girl's have gone quiet. Slowly the sounds are coming closer until into the glow of the fire ride 2 old timers. So how's it all going say's the older of the 2. Stunned silence.

Well, the boys & girls all start getting the ducks & drakes and start standing up & getting ready to run. It's alright says Slim, it's us all right, we're here in spirit to help you through the long night. We just looked down & thought we'd come on down & have a sing along. Just then some air brakes are heard & Old Phantom 309 pulls into the parking bay. Choc's say's by golly who's gunna pull in next.

Eh Mates says Slims ghost as he gave a soft whistle..... we got more surprises for ya and as wer`e leavin you to it now theres some entertainment for ya to go on with for a while...... out of the darkness came.....
