Sorry about the poor photo, it was the only one I could find that didn't show the badge on the front.-Hamish Petrie

Bedford TM with a 6V71 Pete, sorry the budget doesn't run to prizes. I didn't know if you had these in Aussie or not. Narrow cabs like this had the 6V71, wide cabs had the 8V71. Generally KWX3 models like this had RTO609 Roadranger gearbox, Eaton single speed tandem-34DS/38DS I think on 4 spring suspension, with Girling wedge brakes.-Hamish Petrie

Didnt get those in Oz, but I think GMH bought one in for evaluation. Did some have the 6 or 8V92 ?

Pete, as far as I know GMNZ only sold the 6V71 and 8V71 powered ones here, but there were about 14 second hand Pommie import ones with 6V92s came here. They had a sleeper version of the wide cab. The single drive prime mover that Clive Gordon drove on the South Island Run was one of them. Apparently there were some built with 8V92 motors as well as L10 Cummins powered ones.
