I'm fairly certain it's a Lancia Esatau V11: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lancia_Esatau_V.11_(trolleybus) . Here's are some full pics.

Thanks for putting in the effort.
The original was prepared for a thread 'Trams passing...Greek tavernas' for the group TramsDownUnder.
This was a trolleybus, not a tram. I had hoped that there was a taverna in that street, but it was a BP petrol station. In the foreground is a section of tram track, closed in 1977.
I should have cropped completely to the truck (which has been identified in this thread as an early Mercedes), but there was also a chance of identifying the motorcycle (Vespa?) and the female pedestrian, who could well have relatives in Australia.

It was identified as a Fiat in

However, that may be wrong, and I will post the link to your post, and let the debate continue.
