Diamond T
The Diamond T Motor Car Company was formed by Charles Tilt of Chicago in 1905. During the first 6 years, custom built passenger cars were manufactured by hand in the rear of a small one story garage. Diamond T switched exclusively to building trucks, discontinuing its passenger line in 1911.

Goodyear Four-Wheel Steer – Four-Wheel Drive Transit Bus
Goodyear four-wheel steer – four-wheel drive transit bus that was photographed on June 21, 1922. Judging by the photos that have been found it appears that the first bus built in 1921 was six-wheeled. The eight-wheeled bus apparently followed later. This vehicle has been reported to be used by the Company to transport workers to the Akron tire plants from the Goodyear Heights housing development.

Lost over the years, however, was an alternate jeep from another American manufacturer, one that predates anything built by Bantam, Willys-Overland or Ford: the Minneapolis-Moline jeep.
