I have my shoulder to the wheel,
my nose to the grindstone,
I've put my best foot forward,
I've put my back into it,
I'm gritting my teeth,
Now I find I can't do any work in this position!
Wotzit 686 is almost certainly Ford based, the grille and bonnet area look like late 1930's pre-war Ford. I think 180Wannabe has it with a Marmon-Herrington four-wheel-drive conversion.
Wotzit 685, the Ranier is an amazing little truck with a cab that could have been lifted off a horse-drawn carriage, with its curled-under-at-the-bottom doors (I don't know what the proper term is) the curved down at the front roof and the side windows in front of and behind each door. The rear window looks too low to give useful rearward vision with the high interior mirror. That mirror, the electric headlights and the front bumper may be later modifications as even Cadillac and Model T Ford did not have electric lights as early as 1911. The side lights set into the front panel of the cab appear to be electric also but could be kerosene with the body of the light inside the cab. I am sure that once General Motors owned the Company they would have removed all those expensive features and greatly simplified the wooden body and rear guards..

Marmon-Herrington was especially successful in converting Ford trucks into all-wheel drive. Today, the company continues to provide all-wheel drive components to the heavy-duty trucking industry
