Notify of replies

Thought it might be a good oppertunity to point out one of the important parts of the forum that may not being used to its full potential.

That is the "Notify of replies" component.

This can be used to set up a watch on a section, board or even a topic or post. Basically at any level within the forum a automatic watch can be set. You will find the generic notify function in the bottom (or top) right hand side of the forum screen (you may need to scroll down or up)

And depending on which option you can be notified when a new topic is created such as this one. Or whenever any post is made to any topic. The option you get depends on what section you are in.

And whenever a post is made to a watched area you will receive an email indicating that a post is made.

This would be specially useful if you wanted to be informed of any new information about coming events. A watch could be set on the "Event Chat" board.

You can even when you create a new topic or reply to a post you have the option to be notified of any future replies via email.
