Tractor - sub forum was created by HeyCharger
Hi Mods and others. Would there be enough call for a sub (new) forum for a few/lot of us who also own tractors?
I know we could post under "Other Old Stuff", but personally I think there could be room for a TRACTOR section.
Standy, whilst I don flak jacket : Rod.

sounds fair to me - a lot of the 'other old stuff' is tractor-based.
we need to be careful though a lot of our American friends refer to Prime Movers as Tractors
anybody else got any ideas

As do the Poms,Europeans and the (land of the) Long White Crowd nearby.......
What's wrong with "Farm Tractors" or if you want to get a bit plumy,
"Agricultural Tractors".
I'm only mildly interested in tractors myself but I think a new section for them
is a good idea.Just as we have a "models" forum.

Will need to discuss between the admins etc.
But my personal view is that this is a forum for trucks and other commercial vehicles. This doesn't really include agricultural tractors. Like you mention the other old stuff allows a bit freedom to discuss other items.
But we will discuss this further.

Jusy my 2c worth
By all means the tractor stuff can go into the other old stuff section, but if you start up a section for just tractor stuff we may be inundated with tractor stuff and sometimes it is hard enough to keep up with the truck stuff.
I am sure there is already enough great Tractor forums out there.

Yes Trevor there are some great tractor forums.
However, as just having purchased a true blue Aussie tractor (a Chamberlain, made in Welshpool, WA) there are no forums that I have found that cover these (or have even heard of them). Most tractor forums are USA or UK based.
I see this as a unique opportunity for us to contribute a great service for our own.
Rod.
Just my 2.2c worth (gst inc)
Guys. It's no big deal. It was just a thought.
