Eerfree when l put up photo's from flickr l can put 7 up and if l do from my photos photos l only get 5 if l am lucky, so it is to do with the size of the photo's, then sometimes l have to crop some because it to big. I reckon if you are getting 5 your doing OK

Time to get up andd get going.......todays bad decisions aren't going to make themselves!!!

errfree, you are doing it right as rain... 5 is the go, unless you are a bit crafty like Marjimmy and sneak a couple more in. Size does matter....

Hi,

If you are uploading your photos from your computer using the Add File function of this Forum to store them on the HCVC server then you can only upload 5 at a time however there are some limits of the files sizes and dimensions that may affect the total of 5. As a general rule 3gb is the total allowed per single upload.

If you are linking to photos on other websites such as Flickr and Photobucket then there is no limit on how many Links to these photos you can have. The other websites(PB,Fk'r) may have limits on number ad size of files that is beyond the control of here.

Swishman,

I did find a setting in the software that limits you to a maximum of 10 Links, whether it be to photos your are stealing or just to other webpages, per individual post.

Hi,

if you have some images that you want to upload to the Forum but would like to resize them first, try out this website that make it easy to Drag and Drop your picture(s) and it makes them smaller and you save them back to your computer as a .zip(compressed) file.

shrinkme.app/

The process makes the file smaller but shouldn't change the height and width of the image, it is just optimising the picture for viewing on the web.

It is also particularly useful for people who are attaching .PNG photo to their posts as the Forum software doesn't/can't shrink them so they are being stored as 2-3mb for each file. This is a preferred solution rather than stopping people attaching .png files to their posts, mostly coming from Phone pictures. And on that subject check the settings on your phone to make sure you are saving your pictures in .jpg format as it is more economical meaning you could get more photos stored on your phone.
