I think you will find they are the same as a normal plate ad they are designed for the same spot.

In NSW the historic trailer plates are smaller than for prime mover.

When we registered our McGrath, we go two plates the same size as the prime mover for the trailer, but understand trailer plates should be the same as the smaller historic motor cycle plates with the issue of only one off, sorry, dont known their size Both truck and trailer have running number plates with a spare for a second trailer maybe ?

The trailer plates have four holes on a 160mm wide, 75 mm high spacing. Look more at home on a motorbike. LOL
Trailer plates used to be the same size when the trailer was registered and charged seperately. When they went to just $25 admin fee the plates shrank.

When I had my trailers on HISTORIC club plates, that plate was the same size as the prime mover as with cars etc. When I've been to the RTA (sorry RMS) they just bring out a few for whatever you are registering. They just issue ONE plate and keep the other. They were all the ONE size. It's all 5 digits followed by the letter "H". Never seen anything different on HISTORIC trailers. Done this with TWO trailers now and always the same. Rod.
