What is a reasonable price for 900 20s these days?

Quick search came up with $300-$350

Keep watching gumtree (cheapskates ebay) and you might get a set of radials ( 9.00R20) on rims from someone converting to tubeless, in which case near new should be $200 tops down to $70 for some with a bit of life left. If you want rags (900-20) it is harder but they do come up or get them direct through a Chinese importer. Recaps are still available

Thanks Mammoth, I asked about recaps but everyone over here told me they were illegal now. I'm just doing some numbers on the possibility of driving the old girl to Adelaide(after reading old mates tale of the old Mack from Kal to Adelaide) but I don't want to throw $3000 at tyres and about the same at fuel if I can get it moved over there for half that. Te tyres on it are a mix od recap and new but they are old.

I'd say closer to the truth would be "we don't want to sell recaps so we will just tell you they are illegal and hope you don't look any further into it"

About 15 years ago, I got exactly that from a major, national tyre chain in Ipswich. They used the word "banned", failing to mention they were only banned within the chain. ....
