Well, I took the old aircleaners up to Geoff(Brownie) yesterday & we decided that Stainless wrapping was'nt the go. So now the plan is to repair the aircleaner canisters by partial dismantling & replacement of the damaged areas, here's hoping that it works out like we want it too. Cheers Tim

Think I'd panel beat and paint them as best I could, but re-mount them opposite to where they came off.
That way the damaged faces will be towards the cab.

Can,t turn 'em around Jeffo, the outlets face the cab. We looked at drilling out the spot weld to take the tops off & beat them out but found that the inner parts are all welded together as well. So I think there's been some panel cutting & new pieces inserted. I,m going up on Monday to pick 'em up so I'll see if Geoff can post some photo's of the repairs. Cheers Tim
