Brake unit required was created by Lang
On the way to Allora this weekend the Commer brakes died. Managed to do a handbrake run to Toowoomba but the blokes are having trouble finding parts.

Clayton Dewandre air over hydraulic unit for a 1971 8 ton VCAW Perkins Commer.

I suspect Bedford and othe pommy trucks may have had similar units.

Any leads for bits appreciated.

Lang

Hi Lang, the D series Ford used to be the best source of parts for that system. Back in the day, they were easier to get and they were cheaper than Chrysler were for the Commers. Apparently they had the same system. Cheers Kav

I have some numbers. Apparently used on Commer, Dodge, AEC and Ford.

The complete unit number is Clayton Dewandre APGA 6263 or 6263A or 6263B

Yes, that is the one I took the photo from.

Perfect including price but hoping to source something from Australia to speed things up.

Thanks.
