There was oil and grease everywhere once I pulled it all apart. definitely coming out of the front of the box mate.

If not already mentioned; find the breather and make sure it's clear. If it's blocked, the whole thing will pressurise when it heats up and blow oil out.

i wouldnt expect any pressure ,the gearstick has plenty of windage.......if.I had a busted front seal,I would check the little flat roller thrust wasnt broken.......see if there is a lot of play in the front(assuming its a taper roller).....if the thrust is OK,the rear housing may need a few shims removed to tighten things up....While its apart ,its also worth a look at the needle rollers inside the front gear...........check the front roller race on the mainshaft isnt wrecked,and check the rollers and race in the gear.......the race in the gear can generally be cleaned up ,even if the rollers are US......the mainshaft can be sleeved with a hard INA type race.......needs precision grinding tho.

i will see what i find when i undo the front of it, but the box for its age, has no noise in it, which is a bonus for now. i will keep you posted, Cheers

Finally all back together
New front gearbox seal 10$
New Clutch plate 50$
New throw-out bearing 20$
And twenty dollars of decreasing cans
Good.outcome Driving really good And changes gears nicely.
Used the old 3 finger pressure plate
Grand total of repair 100 bucks
New front gearbox seal 10$
