NP435GA Input shaft was created by Dave_64
On the scrounge again!
Trying to locate an Input shaft for a 1968-1972 GMC/Chevy C10-20-30 truck that used the New Process NP435 GA transmission.
They were only used between the above mentioned years before going to their own SM465 apparently.
The shaft I'm after (the GA version of the np435) came out with the close ratio gears, in TWENTY TWO tooth input where the input meshes with the countershaft.
Rest of the shaft is std Chev at the time, 6 1/2 " stickout 1 1/8" diameter X 10 spline, 0.590 input tip diameter.
It is the tapered roller version.
Tried a few Chev as well as trans specialists both here and overseas, no joy so far. Plenty of the 17 tooth variety around, not so much luck with the 22 tooth job.
Seemed to have come out during those nominated years behind 292 and 350 engines.
As usual, any leads gratefully accepted

jon_d, been all over Novak and Advanced Adapters, not the right one. Metaris is a straight out pto lists, last one may be well worth checking out. Thanks, Dave
