Hello Ken I cannot help you with Cargo parts but I hope others on here can.
Welcome to the forum, there are a lot of very knowledgeable people on here.

Morris.

I have my shoulder to the wheel,
my nose to the grindstone,
I've put my best foot forward,
I've put my back into it,
I'm gritting my teeth,

Now I find I can't do any work in this position!

Ken, I'm 99.99% sure that the Ford Transit from the same era used the same headlights.

Hope this Helps..

Can help you with an original tattered service book, (not workshop manual), just service records of the truck if you want. There’s no actual good info in it.

They look to be the same as XC GXL Fairmont headlights, there is a NOS one on ebay now for $1500.00 or second hand ones from $85.00

Ford are(were) experts at raiding the Spare Parts Bins & using the same part on several Models..
But instead of using common Part Numbers for each part.. the %$#@ use a different part Number for each vehicle. & thus confuse the whole issue, making it damn near impossible to cross reference Part Numbers...

I have a funny feeling that the Cargo headlights weren't XC GXL, (rare and expensive, even back in the day) but are actually TE/TF Cortina, whch were as common as muck and dirt cheap, as they were made aftermarket.
Worth trying to find out if you can,as the Cortina ones are still cheap and easy to find- there is a pair on Guntree for fifty bucks...
Find a Cortina if you can, and have a suss!
Cheers
Rich
