Bedford QLD engine sounds. was created by JoelSFX
Hey there,
I'm hoping this forum can help me out a little bit, I'm a sound designer on a new video game that is in development. It is a World War 2 shooter game.
I've been tasked to capture and creat sounds for vehichles in game and my first one up is a Bedford QLD.
Like most average person in suburban victoria, im not fortunate to have a Bedford QLD let alone know of one down the street haha.
If anyone has a working Bedford QL series truck i'd love to come down with my recording gear and have a listen!
I know this is a tall order so if you know of modern or other more common vintage cars, with the same 6 cyilinder engine in it that would do just as well.
Thanks heaps.
You can reply here as i'll check back regulary but feel free to contact my work email: Contact @ joel-azzopardi.com
Once again thanks

It wasn't the motor in Bedfords of that era that was remarkable, it was the gearbox which sang a tune, and winged and whined. Deadly's is just the ticket. the later K, M, or O models are nearly as good.
