before everyone gets to excited over the repair , the proof of the pudding is how long the repair last
castings being different thickness contract and expand at differing rates.
after its heat cycled in use it may well crack in other places under stress .
the fat lady hasn't sang yet :(

I did get a very impressive report of the work done on one pair of cylinders, complete with brand new head studs. However, the other block is apparently more of a challenge with the water jacket being wasted to wafer thin and what with Juan trax other issues it seems the project has been kicked under the bench. Hopefully not for much longer. :unsure:
