I remember they were bluddy big holes!! Talk about the Prince of Darkness letting the smoke out ... these holes were bigger than Batman's cave!!

Hi,
Newto, the "CUMMINS man" had a 160 head delivered that required good old fashioned repairs. He has a repair man that apparently knows how to warm a head up to fill the cracks up. ;)

As it happens called him last week (while he was holidaying in Cairns) to say it was time to call it quits and and return jugs in whatever stage of repair they happen to be. In the meantime I have located 2 more Brockways same model as mine, both with apparently better motors, and have the option on at least one.

Been to Dubbo have you Mammoth?

There are some things that are weldable and some things that are not, I'd put 100 year old rusty cast iron into the latter category. LOL.

Dubbo - unfortunately didn't happen for the show but the following week the stars lined up to let me do a milk run of of outstanding leads and rescuing some items from Ed's scrap bin.

How does that old Benny Hill joke go....

oh yeah, the bloke gets out of jail after 10 years, and wanders into the shoe repair shop to ask about his shoes. The bloke behind the counter says to pick em up on Thursday.
