Have to admit to having trouble reading Swishy's contribution as it was in normal text and not Swishyisms!
LOL, only kidding, Swish, you being a KW driver and all, it's just fun to poke. Was surprised to see your bit in there but was not surprised when I enjoyed it immensely.

Swishy,If you are a bit clever with computers , you can colour up a B+W photo. You really need to know exactly what the right colours were originally. That tow truck in Chapter 6 of my ACCO book was a BW photo to start with.

You are getting there Swishy but I dont think the green will really catch on. What I did with that truck was to outline the area and do a "fill colour" of maybe 50% which keeps the texture behind it. The signwriting was mostly gone but I worked what it was meant to be and typed it back in. All done in Photostudio but there are other programs that can do the same.

Pete you are right, the lime green didn't catch on ,EUCLID /TEREX , a GM company tried that colour scheme on their earthmoving gear .
They were wild pieces of gear in their day, they had Detroit diesel power/ Allison powershift tranny's, the 'dozers had a big single hydraulic ram for the blade, they looked pretty strange compared to Cat and most other earthmoving gear at the time .
Swishy may have a photo of one.
but they would have sounded mean when they were working though..
regards Harleigh.
