Having lived through a pandemic I now understand all the painting of fat people on couches!

On my policy (with Shannons) there is no actual km limit. As long as it is not a daily driver you are right even if it is on full rego (as my XP Ute is) - the fact I walk to a station and catch a train to work is sufficient.
