My son and i got the old Karrier out of the shed for a quick run. started first kick, not bad considering it hadn't been started for over 7 years

Not a parking ticket but entry number for an event at the national motor museum in birdwood.Truck was bought brand new by my late father inlaw and was restored once after the Ash Wednesday bushfire of 1983.

Hi Fozzy,
Great little unit, looks like a Karrier Gamecock. Have you the Speci Plate details?

There was a Karrier Bantam Farmers' Union Milk Van, near the Murray Riverbank, south of Renmark - it would be great to restore and get rolling again.

How are you Forest, didn't catch up with you last time I done the steer tyres. Good looking original Commer, Fos has a couple out there as you drive in I noticed when I was there the other week.

Everything is fixable even if it ain't broken!

Does anyone know if this truck is still around, or if member "Old Man Fozzy" still has a contact address?
I have been through literally hundreds of photos both here and in the U.K. and am trying (unsuccessfully so far) to positively I.D. the one I have here, his comes the closest so far.
Thought if I could contact him, he just may be able to give me a heads up from the tags placed in the passenger side footwell against the engine cover.
Have contacted just about every club both here and overseas I can think of but as yet no luck. Hoping someone may know him.
Thanks, Dave

Dave, send Him a PM & hope he has ticked the "email notification" box..
Don't fancy your chances though. As The above post in 2013 is his last post on this Forum, & he's never logged in since...

Eddy or Tacho may know him though...
