Rodger Preston Transport was created by knighty
rodger preston came into the motel a couple of years ago, driving for a company relocating trucks... he'd sit up at the bar havi'n a couple and telli'n me about his ole trucki'n days doi'n the darwin run...
A while ago he came in going to his sons wedding down south,,, at the bar and plonked down a heap of photo albums,,,, i reckon they're pure gold
here he is in in his r model in the 70 s....more to come.....jk

bit a history ole rodg..
started jacerooi'n narromine way then joined the police force...
ended up in the highway patrol crusin the dubbo area and about, when they had rambler "double ones" some of you ole boyz might remember them, i'd never heard of em..
after a good stint in the country he was transfered to the "big smoke" which he didn't like very much,,, too much corruption, so left the force and bought a BIG MACK and so the Rodger Preston Transport story begins..
spose being in the force for years ya get to know the RULES
so rodg got set up and started subby'in for sydney mt isa transport
