Don't know if this has been up before but about a million photos of old buses.

820823M Port Augusta (SA): Ansett Pioneer Express MC8 IPC825, Adelaide - Perth. (Roderick Smith).
In Perth, the passengers poured off saying: 'We don't care about the price; we're flying to go home'. I smiled, as I was climbing onto the connecting bus to the Pilbara, and then continuing to Katherine, Mt Isa, and back to Melbourne via Alice Springs.

Roderick.

Something from Israel - half-cabs were never popular over there and Leyland, Daimler and AEC all made conventional chassis which were locally bodies, like this AEC.

Those Landliners were deadly. The drivers could not keep them in a straight line. All were converted to Foden hauled semi-trailers.

It looks like the Russians had a go at it a few decades later.

Photo taken at a open day at Tempe Bus and Truck Museun in the late 80's.
I have never spotted this semi trailer White bus again.
Rutty's Bus Service from Figtree near Wollongong operated a similar unit that according to an old Bus Australia magazine was then sold to Hill's Buses at Fairy Meadow. Possibly a trade in as Hills alongside operating buses were agents for Leyland, Albion, AEC , Scammell and Thornycroft vehicles. I have often wondered that the William's White was once owned by Rutty's.
