Driving bus chassis stopped when spaceframe buses came in.Although I have seen liitle short front and rears driven around the back streets at Dennings.I remember John Serafins Cat 12 grader stripped /rusted the splines on the steering ,and one of the laborers perched on the front over the axle with a vicegrip locked onto the power steering box.Drove from Coopers Plains to the servo at junction of Ipswich and Beaudesert Rd,in peak hour traffic. That was about 20 years ago, graders didnt need rego (or insurance) in Qld.

Warrnambool Bus Lines had one similar to Pa Swishy's in the 1950's.
Used to take workers to the woollen mills and Fletcher Jones AFAIK.
Probably a Chev prime mover. Happy holidays, Paul.
