Gotta love those trendy sideburns. B)
Was that before double edged razors were invented?

Owing to the almost complete lack of holdens (only 3?) I would guess 1948 or 1949.

From an article on municipal incinerators, which overlooked the fact that this one was designed by Walter Burley Griffin, is on a historical register, and has been converted to a live theatre.
About half of the 13 built have survived.

The number plate on the truck is ~1961. I am guessing Ford, but can't find the model online. All references show the smaller F models.

F700, 292 y block v8, 5 speed box & 2 speed diff.
Heavier duty than F600. Loved petrol. Paul.

In the States that was a 1960 grille. I do not know what years you used them down under?? In the movie Slim Dusty's 58 Ford was the same design as our 55-56 ones.

AFAIK Collette is a USA tour operator, also operating in Australia.
In tidying accumulated files, I came across these photos, but the article which they were illustrating was lost with the yahell changes.
They were illustrating an article on the history of the company, at a time when it was celebrating a major anniversary.
