A crop from a view in my family album: taken by my father, now part of my collection, and I am scanning the lot so that all of my brothers and all of my nephews/nieces get their own copy of the whole album.

Oct.1954 Nott St at Pool St, Port Melbourne (Vic.). I can't get either, but would go for GMC / Maple Leaf for the leading one (we had a thread on the type which I am not finding). I would even guess Dodge/Fargo for the rear. That warehouse has survived: today it is a wine warehouse. Most of the other houses in the uncropped view have survived too. The major buildings in the distance are in Bay St.

The 3 wheeler in the picture TAA is a Lightburn made in Australia by the same company that makes Lightburn truck jacks (bottle jacks). They are electric, front wheel drive. I own an incomplete one.

Thanks for the Lightburn id; the same company which produced the Zeta?

No nibbles yet on what I thought would be easy for others, the two in 1954.

Here is the other one from that set, taken by my father from the school where he taught (Nott St Primary, still surviving as a special school). The three houses in the background are still there today. I guess a British truck, but without the grille, I am lost.

I ran the Nott St pair though the quiz thread, and there is a general consensus: The leading is GMC/Chevrolet (and hence possibly a Maple Leaf); the rear is a Fargo (and hence possibly a Dodge).

This event is 2 years ago, so have a photo not posted before here instead.
I am guessing ~1942 Chevrolet on the tray.
The modern one alongside is plastered with Mercedes logos, and has a model number 2244.
