First car at 14 in share with Dad was 1938 Morris 8-40 soft top.
Cost 30 Quid, new 6 volt battery and 25 quid for a vinyl soft top.
Style similar to the early MG's. Couldn't kill it or tip it over.
Younger sisters all learned to drive in it. Possibly still sitting out
in the weather behind a shed on the old farm. Fun days, Paul.

I remember getting onto one of those One Penny weighing machines and it registered 10 Stone, Geez I have a good memory !!!!
