At the Kerang museum there is an International D30 from before ww2 with a sleeper cab for two drivers. The cab is made nearly as wide as the tray so that one person can sleep across the bench seat. The backrest is hinged at the top and swings up and is supported by attachments from the top of the windscreen so that the second person then slept on that above the fellow below

I love the "sleeper" function of that ERF - full curtain rail and fold the seat backs down! :)
