good looking trucks but i hope you were on hourly rate taking one interstate .. i can remember my old leyland was basically a 2 day extremely uncomfortable trip newcastle to melbourne .. nowadaze any truck can do the trip in 12 hours or less actual driving time

Not only the trucks have improved, but the roads are a lot better, and mostly multi laned, and also shorter, and towns bypassed.

Think the wheels are still spinning... :D Nothing boring bout these pics...sooner or later someone gunna call us up & say they either owned/drove or worked on one of 'em. :)

Mate, when you put the cursor over the img code (the bottom one) & left click the gobbledook should disappear & the word copied should appear..

I just tried it out in your photobucket albulm, seems to work OK for Me..

NFI if this helps you or Not though.... :-/

Problem seems to have fixed itself, after shutting down and restarting.
Lang, checked one of my old "reference" books, Plate was definitely NSW ISN 318. MrsMack, you've got good eyes, yes that looks to be my bike.

Last one for tonight.
Ford F600 parked opposite the BP Mays Hill having morning tea. East bound. I still remember the name painted on the bonnet, Picoloes Pride". Guessing it was his surname.

Overnite

That may solve a 50 year old mystery. I received a summons (delivered by the Victorian police in Melbourne) for an unpaid fine - can't remember what the offence was - for IS 318 in NSW somewhere. When I showed the cop my logbook putting me in Perth on the stated date, he copied the details, took the summons with him and I never heard any more. Was that your fine?

To quote Schultz of Colonel Klink fame,"I know nussing". Seriously though, I copped a big one through Wangaratta around 4am about 1968, for a very "EXCESSIVE" estimated speed, and illegal log book entries, (plural). But after some very good letter writing on my part, the matter withdrawn from court for a very small fee. I did try the same trick in S.A., at another time, but they were less helpful, I thought they were quite rude in fact, and no sense of humour at all, and just virtually said, pay up or we want the body.
