If that drum is riveted to the hub (appears so in photo), you will need a hub puller. I have to do this on my Studes.
You may be able to hire one. A multi fit one (has legs) will go most stud patterns, but not cheap. Mine was a few hunded (forget, now).
If it's 5 on 4-1/2", they are available one piece and much stronger than the other type. I don't know how much they cost commercially, but Studebaker of Australia has them. Well under $200 last time I knew. If your keeping it, you will need one.

I don't know if you want to try this but a mate of mine who used to work on early Holdens told me what they used to do was loosen the nut a few threads then drive around the block at an easy pace reckoned it worked every time

Paul: No harmonic balancer puller that I've seen will even look at drums - they're on a taper.
Not good to hit the axle ends too hard if it can be avoided. 3 feet of pipe is my choice. Can shatter the thrust block in the middle of the diff centre.
Hopefully it's OK.
I have known of hubs that would not come off with any known means. Axle tubes cut to get the centre out!
Having said that, what greeted you inside?
Jarrod.

I do like that axle puller. That design would work on all those old tapered axle jobs. Looks preferable to a slide hammer.

I have my shoulder to the wheel,
my nose to the grindstone,
I've put my best foot forward,
I've put my back into it,
I'm gritting my teeth,
Now I find I can't do any work in this position!
